Applications for the third wage subsidy (opened 17th September) close at 11.59pm tonight (30th September).
WAGE SUBSIDY AUGUST 2021 #4
A fourth Wage Subsidy Scheme payment has been announced. If your business is eligible, you can apply from Friday 1st October 2021. Applications close at 11.59pm Thursday 14th October. The criteria is the same, your business needs to experience or expect a 40 per cent drop in revenue. You can apply even if you have received the earlier wage subsidies – application must be made two weeks from the previous application. RESURGENCE SUPPORT PAYMENT
Applications for the second Resurgence Support Payment are still open. As long as the conditions that trigger the Resurgence Support Payment apply, it is expected there will be a third resurgence payment available from Friday next week (which is three weeks since the last one opened).
Businesses can apply for the payment by logging into their MyIR account. Further information can be found on the Inland Revenue website.
The scheme will be available until all of New Zealand returns to Alert Level 1 for one month.
