Update 24th March 2020 – Current Support for Businesses

The Government has updated the stimulus package and we would like to bring to your attention the following:

If you are a New Zealand business owner, and/or employer, and you have seen your work significantly impacted because of Covid-19 there may be some relief available for you.

The latest update has just been released around the subsidies. There is no longer a $150,000 cap. As of right now, all businesses are likely eligible for a 12 week wage subsidy, which is a lump payment for 12 weeks of either $585 per week for a full-time person, or $350 per week for a part-time person.

You can apply only for a limited time. You can apply more than once. Please do not delay in contacting either MSD, or us if you require assistance.
